We continue our day with Morning Meeting, or Circle Time. During this time children are engaged in interactive activities such as group song and dance, learning about numbers and letters, a review of the calendar, and our traditional tribute to the Peace Pole. Many other Peace Education activities also take place during circle time. Circle time exists for the purpose of getting together to know each other better through song and dance, and a variety of games that promote peace and sharing. Children are encouraged to "show what they know" and to "care to share". We end each circle with out Peace Pole Ceremony.
